13th - 16th November 2006 - WOODFUEL TRAINING COURSE

A Woodfuel training course will be held at the Scottish School of Forestry, Balloch, Inverness from the 13-16th November 2006. This will be an in-depth course run by project partners from North Carelia Polytechnic and Metla and topics covered will include Fuel Supply Chain Development, Boiler Technology and Scaling, Boiler Economy and Heat Energy Business.

First Northern WoodHeat Syposium

The first Northern WoodHeat Symposium was held in Joensuu, Finland from the 5th-9th June 2005. The project partners and other interested parties met to discuss progress so far in the three partners countries and to hear presentations from leading experts in the field. There were also opportunities to visit woodfuel production sites in the Joensuu area.
