Annukka Pesonen (second from right)
has recently completed her Master's Thesis at the University of
Joensuu. Her research topic was "Modelling the Growth and Yield of
Larch in Hallormsstađur, Iceland" Her results show that the growth
rates of both species are high, which is a promising basis for
woodfuel supply.
